Principal’s Message

Welcome to Winnipegosis Elementary School, home of the Tigers!

Winnipegosis Elementary School is a kindergarten to grade eight school with approximately one hundred students.  The school sits in the heart of the Village of Winnipegosis and provides educational opportunities to Winnipegosis, Fork River, the Mossey River Municipality, and parts of Mountain Municipality.  Winnipegosis Elementary has a staff of about 20 teachers and support staff working together to provide meaningful educational experiences for our students. 

At WES, we strive to provide authentic learning opportunities that promote critical literacy, numeracy and encourage students to be respectful citizens and stewards of our community and world. Our goals in these areas lead us to rich tasks so our students are engaged and invested in their learning.
