In honour of School Support Staff Recognition Week (Sep. 30-Oct. 4, 2024), as proclaimed by the Minister of Education, a sincere "thank you" is extended to all support staff in MVSD for the valuable work they do in our schools and in supporting the education of our students!

We were honored to join the 2024 Manitoba Summer Games host committee along with athletes and other partners; the City of Dauphin, Sport MB, MB Hydro and the Province of MB on Friday, April 26th for the announcement of the upgrades to the DRCSS outdoor athletics facility, including a rubberized track, a paved sport court and power to the announcer’s booth. Thank-you for your contribution of a legacy that will benefit not only the division but our community for many years to come.

Free Wi-Fi is offered once again in every MVSD community for students who are engaging in online learning! The service is available Mon-Fri from 8 am - 8 pm. Click on the link for hotspot locations.

Applications for the second period of the Canada Dental Benefit are open. Eligible families can receive up to $650, to help with expenses for their children under 12 who receive dental care between July 1, 2023 and June 30, 2024. To find out more, click on the above link.

MVSD acknowledges the balance between promoting responsible device usage and recognizing the benefits personal electronic devices bring to our community. The caregivers of our MVSD students play a key role when it comes to the education and support surrounding digital tools.
