About Us
Winnipegosis Elementary School is located in the Village of Winnipegosis in the Mossey River Municipality at the southern tip of Lake Winnipegosis. The school provides programming for Kindergarten to Grade 8 students. Our facility also houses the Industrial Arts/Human Ecology courses from Grades 7 to Senior 4 for students of our village as well as students from surrounding communities.
Currently our school population for Kindergarten to Grade 8 stands at 104 students. The students benefit from the shared services of a divisional counselor, psychologist, and speech pathologist. The Resource and Reading Recovery programs assist students in developing their individual skills.
Daily physical education/health and an active intramural program as well as the continuation of our Breakfast for Learning program promotes active living and a healthy lifestyle.
