Free WiFi for Students

Free Wi-Fi is offered once again in every MVSD community for students who are engaging in online learning! The service is available Mon-Fri from 8 am - 8 pm. Students are asked to remain in their vehicles while working on assignments to abide by social distancing guidelines. Click on the link for hotspot locations.

Cancellations and Delays

For today, Monday, January 25th, buses are cancelled in Dauphin, Ochre River and Winnipegosis due to windchill. Route R6 (Tom Summerton), GV1(Parrot) and GP1(Story) are not running.

Returning Loaned Laptops

With the return to classes on Monday, January 18th, any loaned laptops should be returned on the student's first day back. The loaned laptop and charging cord can be returned to the main office of your school. Students remaining in remote learning through to spring break, or DRCSS students who signed loan contracts in September, will not need to return their laptops at this time.

Gr. 7-12 Students Return to In-Class Learning on Jan. 18th

There has been no announced change from the Province regarding the plan for Grades 7-12 students to return to in-class learning on Monday, January 18. We look forward to welcoming Grades 7-12 students back to class on Monday (remote learning options will continue for Grades 7 & 8). WES Closed Friday, Jan. 15 - No Water

Currently, there is no water at Winnipegosis Elementary School, and no timeframe as to when water will be restored. There will be no school at WES today. Parents are being contacted to pick up their children. We anticipate that classes will resume on Monday.
